You are kindly invited to visit us in one of our business units and we will guide you through the entire process of concluding an agreement and opening an account. You will need the following documentation:
Natural persons:
- valid personal identification (identity card or passport),
- tax ID number,
- bank account number.
Slovenian legal entities:
- an extract from AJPES (Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services) not older than 3 months,
- documentation that proves the ownership of the legal entity broken down to the final owner,
- tax ID number of the legal entity,
- bank account number of the legal entity,
- valid personal identification and a tax ID number of the legal representative.
No, the stock transactions with securities can be handled via telephone or the online trading platform if you decide for this option.
Your means are recorded on your trading account. Your financial means are transferred automatically unless you sign a special statement with ILIRIKA d.d. to cancel the automatic transfer of means from the sold stocks to your personal account.
The stocks are not visible in the portfolio if they are entered into the registration account at KDD d.d. or into a trading account of another member of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange or any other brokerage company. Each stock on the trading account at ILIRIKA is visible in the portfolio. You have the option to transfer stocks from other brokerage companies to ILIRIKA and they will thus appear in ILIRIKA ONLINE.
The stock transfer from the registration account to the trading account can be arranged by signing a KDD form for transfer at the ILIRIKA seat.
The transfer of stocks from any other brokerage company to the trading account at ILIRIKA can be executed by signing specific KDD forms. First, you need to have a trading account at ILIRIKA, and then you need to forward the signed KDD forms to the brokerage company with your stocks and to ILIRIKA. Our consultant can provide the necessary forms and any additional information on stock transfer.

The financial means for purchasing securities will be visible in your portfolio after the funds are received on our account.
The tax return form is submitted by 28 February of the current year by the taxpayer who has disposed of securities and other holdings and investment coupons in the previous year.
The tax return form for profit from disposal of securities and other holdings and investment coupons must be submitted by the taxable person by 28 February of the current year for the previous year, unless you are a taxable person who is not a resident. Non-residents must submit the tax return form in fifteen days from the disposal of securities and other holdings and investment coupons unless they predict all of the disposals of securities and other holdings and investment coupons in the previous year. In that case, the non-resident can submit the tax return form by 28 February for the previous year.
Based on the tax return form, the tax authority issues a notice of assessment for profit from disposal of securities and other holdings and investment coupons. This usually takes some time, but in any case, before the end of the current year. The payment deadline is 30 days from the day of receiving the notice.
The taxable person must submit the tax return form for profit from disposal of securities and other holdings and investment coupons by 28 February for the previous year, regardless of the loss they created with the disposal of securities.
The annual profit calculation includes also the flat rate expenses and provisions from purchasing and selling transactions in the amount of 1%.
The tax return for capital profit is calculated and paid from the tax rate of 25%. For every full five years of capital ownership the tax rate is lowered as follows:
- After five years of capital ownership: 20 %
- After ten years of capital ownership: 15 %
- After fifteen years of capital ownership: 0 %
- The tax rate from interests and dividends in 25%.
